Canadian Weed Beer

Drugs, Booze, Canadians, what's not to love?

Molson Coors Canada, one of Canada's largest breweries, is working with The Hydropothecary Corporation to bring cannabis-infused beverages to market. It's nice to see older, more traditional companies adapt their businesses to the changing times.

“While we remain a beer business at our core, we are excited to create a separate new venture with a trusted partner that will be a market leader in offering Canadian consumers new experiences with quality, reliable and consistent non-alcoholic, cannabis-infused beverages,” said Molson Coors Canada president and CEO Frederic Landtmeters.

I like the concept, bringing weed to the mainstream consumer. This will really open up the cannabis market in Canada. Think of all the people who run from weed like it's the devil, seeing a beverage from a trusted company in a store they frequent will leave them more open to trying new things.

What do you guys think of finding Kush Cola lining the shelves at your local Walmart (In Canada) in a couple of months? Would you buy?
