ideal portfolio
I’m a young college kid and am wondering what would be an ideal long-term portfolio to build towards? I was thinking around 20-30% of the portfolio in good dividend paying stocks (dividend aristocrats) for consistent payments and 50-60% in good appreciating companies (blue chips, but ones I can afford) and then maybe 10-20% in growth opportunities. any great ideas or strategies to recommend from someone currently building or successfully built? any advice is appreciated, I would like to set it up early with small positions and beef them up as I gain the means to do so.
