MFE program application advice MFE

Hello, Currently doing an undergrad program in law, and would like to complete change my direction to finance.

the idea studying law seemed cool to me 4years ago but now I just don't want to and can't do this anymore

Seriously thinking about pursuing a financial engineering master degree in US. The thing is that Im well aware of my lack of quant related background, but I've been good at math since I was young.

If i take prerequisite necessary math courses through coursera or Edx, will I have a shot or am i just being delusional?

To show that I am a math person and can handle the financial engineering courseswork i am also willing to take CFA. Is this a plausible plan?

Thank you
