Terminally Ill: Health Insurance

Drugs are awesome but too expensive

After watching some of the Presidential debates I noticed many of the candidates agree with me. The Dems slammed insurance companies and were all pushing for some type of socialized healthcare plan. This coincided with a 16% drop across the board for the Big Health Insurance companies earlier in April.

“Overexposure to retail markets leaves Humana in a vulnerable position given the rapidly changing political climate. Health insurance, being an incredibly policy-dependent sector, is poised for a restructuring should a Democratic candidate be elected in the upcoming 2020 presidential race.”
- E8 Research

These folks are talking about a specific health insurance company, Humana, with private retail health insurance making up 80%+ of their revenue, (AIG Pt 2?) I imagine this would also affect the other big health insurers.

What do you guys think about the future of health insurance? Bullish or Bearish?
