probably did 0 networking? 3.6 is lower since most places require 3.7 min. unless I'm wrong because some places require 3.5 min. also you probably did not have a stacked resume with a lot of ECs + Internships (multiple banking ones or PE related ones) to back up your low gpa.
if i network a lot now for the other firms, do u think theres a chance? or just the lack of IB internships is it? (i have a pe internship and currently doing a pe internship now)
I mean 2026 recruiting is over... you would have to re recruit for 2027. It's good you are getting more experience in as long as they are not just sourcing related entirely. I would say start networking for 2027 SA since 2026 SA is kind of over. I mean if you still want to do 2026 SA recruiting, Deutsche reopened recently so you can apply to that.. Citi sometimes might reopen or even Wells.. but highly unlikely.
