17 Year old finding his way

Hi, I  am a student from  Malaysia (Sea).

I have a deep interest in IB and I want to get into it. I started studying the lingo and reading the financial news at the end of 2019. But as I am getting near the end of my high school life, I  don't know where to study and what to do. I really want to do IB but I have no idea where to start academic wise.

Should I study locally and try to get into Singapore IB, or should I continue studies in HK and start there. I am Chinese and speak Cantonese, Chinese, and    English. Could any experienced veterans of the finance frontlines give some advice?

You are in high school. Chill. If finance is interesting keep reading about it, but I wouldn't recommend spending the next 5/6 years of your life worrying about IB. Keep it in the back of your mind as you make a few choices here and there, but have a good time and do what sounds fun and interesting.
