2023 Lazard Financial Advisory Undergraduate Diversity Fellowship Help

Looking to get some insight & clarifying color on this:

a. Does anyone have any prior experience with (this or other) diversity programs @ Lazard?

b. double-checking the language here:

The Fellowship is awarded to a select group of outstanding second year undergraduate students (from a four-year accredited college or university) who have successfully completed the interview process and received a Summer Analyst Investment Banking offer. It provides $5,000 toward the recipient in the spring of their third year, and an additional $5,000 financial reward upon receiving and accepting a full-time position following the Summer Analyst Program. I am to assume that this is tailored for rising sophomores who already have an non-Laz IB offer? Does Lazard have a sophomore IB program that I am not aware of? Or am I just an illiterate chimp? What gives?
