2026 comp expectations?

Summer is ending and the push to year end is here.

Know comp isn’t communicated until Jan/Feb, but year end stuff is starting to kick off…

What are people’s expectations on comp?

Maybe it’s wishful thinking, but total fee pool is up 8% yoy ytd, and seems like there is optimism around M&A.

Would think this should justify higher payouts (relative to last year at least), but curious for a sentiment check from others
