2030 GS Virtual Insights Q’s + Mega Thread

Hey everyone. I’m an incoming freshman at a top NE boarding school (I.e., Exeter/Andover). Already been in contact with current students who are legacy / athletic recruits at HYPSWKelley, and they’ve advised me to join their investment club if I want a shot at a top target (let alone High Finance). Really love the culture at H so looking to go 4yrs UG —> 2+2 —> HBS. GS Virtual Insights will fall in 2030, so looking to make a centralized thread of likeminded kids. So many of my peers are brainwashed by TikTok and dopamine fiends, so hopefully I can meet a couple of kids with actual aspirations like me. Anyway, any tips from more senior members of WSO as to how to maximize my shot at GS VIS 2030, as I’ve heard it’s a great resume filler and almost critical for GS TMT placement. Seems ultra competitive, so just looking to get ahead of my peers. Any HS class of ‘26 graduates feel free to share any relevant info that you may have heard. Thank you!
