2nd round Background Checks
Have you guys ever heard of IB firms conducting background checks (employment, criminal, credit, academic, etc) as a screen for 2nd round interviews? Just curious, thx.
I've never heard of that.
People get selected for 2nd rounds by passing a background check? That doesn't make sense.

Sorry, to clarify I meant after passing the first round to see if they lied about their background; before they come in for a 2nd round and before an offer is extended.
To lie on an application can get you blacklisted from all major banks. just letting you know.
