3.36 GPA at Ivey/Queen's with relevant boutique internship aiming for summer 2018 internship in Canada

Hey guys.

I'm looking for some honest advice here- do I have a shot at interviews from BB/boutique investment banks/equity research firms in Toronto/Canada? I'm at a top B school (Ivey/Queen's) with a 3.36 GPA as of now doing a part-time internship from a boutique investment bank in Toronto (mostly work from home but have worked on pitches and valuation). I got the internship through a connection who basically just gave me the position. I'm also working on the Wall Street Prep course to nail technicals. I know BBs in Toronto recruit during November, and unfortunately the GPA used for recruiting during the fall for me will be the 3.36. However, once January rolls around I'll be able to use an updated GPA after fall marks come in which i believe I can get up to a 3.5. In January/February, Toronto boutiques start recruiting interns. I'm also shooting for commercial banking and corporate finance internships just in case. Do you think I'll be able to land some interviews in the Fall? In the Winter? My main concern is that I've heard cutoffs (at least for BBs) are 3.5. Would banks even look at my resume at that point? I believe my experience is relevant but that doesn't matter if they aren't even looking at my resume.

Thanks a lot.
