A technical department v finance department
I have an offer to do an engineering internship at multi billionaire prestigious engineering firmthink exon, lockhead martin, Google and so on..
I want to go into Investment banking and have sights set on a BB.
What would impress the Bank more, if I work in the finance department or work in something really really technical e.g designing and engineering?
Obviously finance background is more relevant but if I do a technical internship I am thinking it would prove the bank I am smart and it would be interesting?
