Introduction to WSO

Hi, I am 1st year student in University of Exeter pursuing career in Investment Banking/Private Equity. I have been actively trying to get an internship recently, but, unfortunatelly, non of my applications were successful. That fact in particular brought me to a decision to apply for WSO Academy, in order to boost my employability and learn from experts. Additionally, I am doing a degree with Industrial Experience, which means that from the summer 2025 I will need to apply for a placement year to different companies, and my goal is to land a placement in high finance company in London. I hope to get help with landing this placement year, my future internships and also growing my network.

Had a look at ur linkedin, where you reveal even more personal information, and it seems a bit wordy/AI generated - might be worth trimming it down a little?

Regarding placements, maybe check out some Exeter alumni that managed to get high finance roles - reach out and ask for advice/guidance.

NB: Not many firms offer 12 month placements (off top of my head Citi, UBS, MS, Lazard, and some other boutiques), so it might be worth applying for SA/OC roles too.
