Yes, probably. Depends on the bank, most will have records.
Will this factor into my getting interviews/offers? My resume was significantly worse last year and while I applied for the hell of it as a sophomore I didn't get any interviews.
I did get a comment from the HR rep when setting up my first round interview that they noticed previous applications to the bank for other positions. So they do note such things.
Probably consider using a new email address as a new applicant if you don't want them comparing your resume or seeing what divisions you previously applied to, or possibly picking up on obvious discrepancies if you have fudged stuff before?
