Accelerated BB/EB FT Recruiting London
Hi! I have posted with a new account for anonymity reasons. I was just wondering whether anybody has any inside into whether BBs/EBs in London have accelerated FT recruiting and how to participate in the process. I will be interning at a US BB during the summer but have become increasingly wary about my choice, especially since I had to withdraw from the process at most other BBs because I received my offer so early. Additionally, I must admit that since accepting my offer I have become increasingly convinced that I want to join a specific industry team that my BB isn't really strong at. As I have previous IB experience and know people at my BB, I am quite confident that I will be able to get a FT offer and do not want to gamble my offer from a highly respected bank. FYI, I will also do a PE internship at a very reputable Large Cap PE between SA and FT I would be particularly interested in information about GS, MS and Lazard.

2 years ago GS did networking sessions (and invited interns from other firms) after the summer internship ended and fast-tracked people on to interviews for FT. Not sure if they still do.
Can confirm they still did this last year. GS interns and other employees can invite interns from other banks to apply. A few select ones will be invited to a breakfast event around early August, some of which will be accelerated to interviews.
