Acquisition Premiums?

I'm trying to create a Deal comp model for an airline and I am trying to get acquisition premiums from previous deals that are similar. I have heard about Bloomberg Terminal is a place that I can view details like this, but Im merely a high schooler just trying to practice, so I don't really have the money for it. Do you guys have any other places to find merger details like the acquisition premium?

Thanks yall.

I'm a rising sophomore in college, so take this with a grain of salt, as there may be better methods.

From what I've read, to get premiums, you can simply check their stock prices before the deal was announced (you should be able to get filing dates in the SEC merger announcement... you may want to go back as much time as a month before the deal was announced, as word usually gets spread out before the deal is announced - affecting the stock price. Compare the unaffected stock price to the price the acquirer paid, and that is your premium.

Thanks for the reply! This makes a lot of sense. Im using SEC Edgar but I can't seem to find out where I can get the price the acquirer paid per share. Any idea? if not, thanks for the reply anyway
