Advantages of Associate’s with no banking background?
Been trading for four years and applying to business school. Banking is a field I would like to explore but curious what advantages do associate have with non-banking experience pre MBA ? What major disadvantages do they have(outside of the obvious)?
While on a campus visit I met two investment bankers alumni who have the same background as me.

So it does happen but would like more insight. Thanks
you're probably not a huge fucking tool bag as most analyst promotes are douches who think they are already MD's by their 2nd Assoc. year
noted.
I know all the adv of analyst promotes but that is not me so pointless to explore. I am more interested in the non banking pre mba people.
