Advice for a tough decision. BB/Elite boutique SA in a year? Or reapply for FT next year?

I'm a second year undergrad student in a UK university, and have an offer for a mid market boutique this summer. I also have an offer for next summer from a top BB/elite boutique (received the offer after an insight programme). The summer offer is only for penultimate year students, but next year i will be a finalist. I guess I have two problems:

  1. How can I approach HR with my situation/ have any of you out there been in a similar situation?

  2. If i still need to be in my penultimate year, is it worth doing a placement year (with BNP M&A/ EY FS audit/ UBS AM/ maybe a couple of others available) or a masters in order to qualify for the internship? Or should I just turn down the offer and apply for FT roles next year with my MM SA experience under my belt?

Thanks in advance
