Advice for next summer

I pitched an idea to my MD today. Count my current time as an intern + an additional summer + 1 semester to count as work experience towards my first year as an analyst. It comes out to 47 weeks worth of experience before my full-time employment would begin. I will be compensated.

Question: If I get this to go my way, and effectively get fast tracked, is it better to accept that offer, or try another internship at another location, like a BB?

Further info: I am at a well known middle market bank, and I like working here. GPA is 3.5, I go to an Ivy, and I'm former military.

There is no guarantee this will happen, but I would like to hear some general feedback on the situation. Effectively do 3 years at a middle market in 2 years, or just try another internship and decide later?
