Advice for Starting Analyst

This is my first year as a analyst in an investment bank. Everyone is so smart in my group and have MBAs and went to top schools. The MD of the group become the MD when he was 32. He is extremely intelligent.I want to kill it this year and prove that I can add value to my team.Any advice on how to do well my first year? How can I prove that I deserve this opportunity? What things should I be doing to stick out?
