ADVICE: FT Reneg for geography

Could use some advice:

After my 2021 SA stint (MM i-bank on the west coast (not San Fran)), I received an exploding FT offer (~1.5 weeks to decide). I went ahead and signed due to FT recruiting uncertainty.

During the 1.5 weeks, I applied to a few banks in NYC and am being contacted now for first-round interviews. It's always been a dream of mine to work in NYC, and it would be more complicated to make the move later in my career.

Is it worth taking the interviews, and reneg on the regional (assuming I receive an offer)? If so, how do I approach interviews (ex. tell them straight up about my situation)?
