Advice Needed - Analyst 1

A few months ago, I did not think I'd be writing this post. Shortly put, I've had some mistakes (some my fault and some others where the blame has shifted to me) and don't think I have a future with my bank anymore.

Through school/clubs, sports, and previous internships, I've obviously messed up, but have almost always been able to make up and correct for them going forward, and have in general just been ranked at the top performance or grade-wise (not bragging, just informing for this post). For this job, it seems like after every mistake, the next week I'll make a mistake in another area despite trying my hardest. I know I am better than this but the issue is that the head of the group's first impression of me is that I'm a dumb*ss.

What I would like advice on is next steps. With this ~90 hour a week job, I really see two paths. The first is just spending all my free time preparing to lateral several months down the line to another IB shop or recruit for private equity. The second is going all out on this job and showing good work but not sure this would even matter since first impressions are everything. Please let me know any advice here
