Advice Needed: Any experienced monkeys been through a lift-out? Entire desk going to another bank.

Hey guys -

I'm a long-time monkey, but this is a new account to triple-protect my identity.

My team is involved in a lift-out to another bank. Right now I'm working with my MD and her lawyers, who are handling all the negotiations. We are a small trading desk that handles a unique product, and I think I have some pretty powerful leverage.

Just wondering if I should lawyer-up, or get some other type of assistance with the negotiations? I don't want to leave anything on the table.

Looking for people who have been through this experience before. Hoping this is the right place to ask.
