Advice Needed - Global Office

Hey yall,

Your fellow monkey here needs some advice... Currently a senior international student studying in US. Have a full-time offer at BB next year. However, due to some complicated visa issues happened recently, I might not be able to work immediatley after I graduate from college in May. The bank has many global locations, but not in my home country. I've been exploring the work visa application process of different countries that my bank has offices in, and London and HK seem most promising (If you are familiar with the US work visa application process, there's the lottery system) and do not have the lottery system.

I'm wondering if I bring these thoughts up with the HR, would it be possible for them to transfer my offer to a different country? Have you experienced or know people who had similar situations?

Appreciated!
