Advice: Networking for BB IBD Junior year

I am currently a sophomore at a target public school with a 3.6 GPA, and am wondering what I need to do to network effectively before applying to places for a Junior year BB IBD internship.

Here is my current situation: I had an internship after freshman year as an analyst in the marketing department at a $1B market cap company. I have currently accepted an offer at a F100 Company as a Strategic Analyst Intern, where I will be doing a lot of analysis depending on what projects they have (financial/marketing/data analysis, maybe some Corporate M&A).

What should I do during the summer/fall semester that would prepare me to land those first round interviews? I also go to a two year undergrad business school and will not have the extensive financial knowledge before applying to Junior Internships, so what should I do to prepare?

Read M&I & WSO, get the networking guides from BIWS/WSO if you want - I assume you go to Haas or McIntire? If not, you don't go to a public target with a 2 year business school. Even from UNC you'll have to put in a little extra legwork especially if you want NYC over Charlotte.

Get the BIWS/WSO tech guides. Those will pretty much prepare you for anything you'll see in a SA interview. Go to any IB workshops that your school puts on like Training the Street, LBO primers, etc.

MM IB -> Corporate Development -> Strategic Finance
