Advice on leveraging midwest MM IB offer for a IB full time offer in New York
Hey Guys,
I just finished up my IB summer internship at a midwest MM bank. I got my return offer but I want to work in NYC because of proximity to family and friends. I know I can do a year at my current bank and lateral after, but I would rather just start my career back at home then spending another year away from home. I have a 3.8 from a big ten school, IB and PE summer experience, yet I can't get a first round at any shop. Any advice?
