Advice Pls!

Advice please - I'm a sr analyst right now working for a large pharmaceuticals company. Got a CPA, i'm only 25 and i'm really strong with numbers. I make about $80 a year now but i've realized i need to double that to have a decent lifestyle for my family. I don't have an MBA (yet)

the problem is also that my current job is sooo boring. The company i work for has huge growth every year but i don't feel like i contribute much to it. How do I change careers into banking? what do i need to be able to join a large bank like Morgan Stanley, GS, etc.

My whole point is sometimes i don't really like my job so i might as well find something where i'll be working equally as hard and get paid alot more. I taught about doing banking b/c i'm constantly reading about financials and love trying to discover value in companies (basically ever since high school)

To sum it up, I feel like I: I want to start earning alot more I want an exciting job

pls give me some advice - thanks!

Go get MBA from top 10 MBA program. An MBA is meant for two types of people, bankers who want to advance and people who want to switch careers into finance.

Your right that does make it more difficult. You will have to ace the GMAT (740+). Also, start doing some good extracurricular activities and prepare some really amazing essays as to why you want to go to business school (want to save poor children in Africa...whatever).
