Advisory fees

Are there industry standards for M&A fees, fairness opinions, divestitures and asset sales, and restructuring? And if so, what are typical %'s to use for each listed above. Are fees generally negotiated based on firm prestige, economic climate, deal complexity, and size?

Fees for M&A transactions usually have an intial retainer with a sucess fee attached to it. The success fee is usually a % of TEV. The fee structure can take many shapes depending on the transaction/assignment. Anything from monthly retainers to contigent success fees. Look up the Lehman scale for more general information.
