How are you networking you say you networked extensively but what does that really mean. Does it mean that you simply talked to a lot of people or does it mean that you really invested time into nurturing relationships? I would suggest continuing to network and perhaps reevaluating how you're actually doing it, simply talking to somebody once is not enough that's cold calling that's not really networking.
