Am I going to be fired / should I leave before? Fuck up of colossal proportions

Slightly major fuck up on the deal I'm on!

Folder on the VDR with a bidder's name was enabled to all bidders by accident and with security settings changed immediately afterwards. Checking with the VDR provider whether notifications were sent out, but this is going to take 24-48 hours. Have not heard anything from other parties regarding this (was approx. 5 hours ago).

Wondering if anyone has been in a similar situation (i.e. bidder being exposed to other bidders)? Seems like an offence that would get you fired. Wondering if I should pre-empt this when I head into work tomorrow and hand my notice in immediately.

Check everything before you hit send. Shit happens. I would probably raise the issue before it is raised to you.

Only two sources I trust, Glenn Beck and singing woodland creatures.

Kind of serious – I'd personally raise it to (somewhat) cover my own ass before I get it handed to me on a platter. People have been fired for less, meanwhile others understand that mistakes happen. Idk your situation w/ your team, and coincidentally enough I read a post here on WSO the other week about an identical situation someone else had. Don't exactly remember details, but good luck homie. Only you know what's best here to do.
