Career Resources
You'll have no problem landing FT ibd interviews with other firms. Also take advantage of internal mobility opportunities to try to lateral to other groups within your firm.
Network with people in industry groups early on so that they know your intentions and aren't surprised when you don't want to stay in capital markets. The main challenge will be FT group placement next summer, when you're competing for limited positions in industry groups or top product teams with other FT analysts.
Also reach out to alumni in your target firms to find out what their recruiting schedules are like. Getting into accelerated recruiting programs will help relieve the stress of FT recruiting come the start of the semester.

Congrats dude! A few questions
1) what pulled you off of GS IBD to an EB? Turning down GS IBD for Greenhill / Lazard is pretty tough no? 2) regarding the MD that went to bat for you, how did you feel // was it awkward when you let that person know that you were accepting elsewhere? 3) finally, it seems that you were pretty dead set against Capital Markets right away (as soon as July)..is this something that you knew within the first week on the desk, or did you simply go with Capital markets at GS because you didn't get IBD at GS / MS, and didn't want to step a "tier down" ?
