So basically I hate wearing shoes (of any kind). If I don't have to wear them, they aren't going on. So when I sit down at my desk, my shoes come off and stay off until I have to get up and go somewhere. Does anyone else do this? Also, get loafers if you want to start doing this. Much less of a pain in the ass.

If you have smelly feet, this would be a very bad idea. Otherwise, it shouldn't matter if it's well hidden under the desk. I always have them on due to the fact that my desk does not conceal my feet too well.

I do the exact same thing. I don't even retie them when I get up from my desk unless I know I'm going to a meeting or something
i keep mine untied all day
I definitely do this at the office, not bold enough to do it at a client unless it's late.

I used to do this as a summer analyst until an associate managed to steal one of my shoes.
Only past midnight or on the weekends would I pull this off. And only if senior people aren't around. Also keep a shoe horn on your desk so you don't screw up your shoes.
