An1 making £100k+ at a BB in London?
Got a family friend at an American BB that claims to have made c.£100k as an An1. Is this possible? I assumed base + top bucket bonus would get you c.£90k at a BB?

Highly unlikely unless counting signing bonus + top bucket and even then hardly scraping / probably short of 100k
I know one BB where in 2019 Ana1 made 96k GBP. but that is including signing bonus.
How much is the signing bonus at US BBs AN1 roughly? Do all BBs pay them?
5k - believe all pay the same.
Yeah, no.
See this headhunter's comp reports: Arkesden compensation reports
JPM/GS have paid PS50 fixed + PS47 max bonus
This is fascinating. Any US report?
Any other free US reports from a HH, that detail comp similar to this https://www.arkesden.com/compensation-reports#.Xs0g1qgzaUk
he rounded up to the hundreds place
Out of interest, what's the highest compensation for EBs An.1 (i.e. evercore, Laz, pjt) in London? I've seen people on here claim pjt pay 120k to first years, is that wrong and if so do they make similar to BB? Thanks
No that's correct
Not sure about PJT/EVR, but I heard Laz bonuses for Analysts is lower than BBs. Is this true?

Pay gap seems unbelievable. AN1s can easily top $170+ in the US. Even adjusting for a much higher historical fx rate, you would think 100k gbp is possible.
Salaries are generally lower + we have 5 weeks vacation and generally better work life balance but do agree we were better off with FX at 1.4 vs. Current 1.1 - not sure banks are keen to correct though
