Analyst 2.0 - What will the analyst role evolve into?

Been following the recent & ongoing advancements in technology & often pondering on where my role as an analyst should be prepared to evolve as time goes on. Heard about this new big data technology called "orbital insight" that leverages satellite, UAV, and other geospatial data sources, to understand and characterize socio-economic trends at global, regional, and hyper-local scales, and was mesmerized by this new technology. This led me to question how my role as an analyst will have to change in the face of upcoming analytics & tech advancements like this.

Would love to get any views, thoughts, ideas on where you all think our roles in the business world should be prepared to evolve to. No preference on where this thread goes, but can always count on the WSO community to give their brutal insight. Would love to hear any stories, articles, or theories from either new curious future business leaders or even veterans of the game.

What skills do you all see coming needing to be learned?

Will the 2030 analyst have to know coding?

Will the analyst intensive "bitch-work" be eliminated, leading to a more strategic centered role?

How will this affect the attractiveness of working in IB?

How will this affect investing?
