Analyst Base Salaries
Any banks still haven’t raised analyst base salaries yet? RBC is still at $100k/105k, feels a bit ridiculous

Career Resources
Read the room man. Banks are axing people across the board right now, Analysts are more concerned with whether or not their going to have a job at the end of the month.
No we’re not lol unless you’re at GS
What analyst is worried about having a job outside of GS and CS
True that people are getting axed but for those of us that aren’t… think it’s reasonable to want to be compensated comparably to street. Especially when bonuses sucked this year too
Some banks pay above the median and some below, RBC isn't the only one. The range seems to be 100-120 (I think a few below 100 and FT being 140 as an outlier) and the median being 110. As long as banks still have an abundance of applicants, people accepting offers, and the reason for attrition isn't comp related there is no reason for a bank to raise salaries, especially in a down market.
I don’t know why people cry about comp so much. If you want to double your salary just work half as much.
Your class should make a presentation explaining how ridiculous it is and send it to major publications.
