Lateral interviews are much harder, I've found, because it's less "walk me through $10 in depreciation..." and more case studies and digging into your experience. They are solving for you being able to hit the ground running.
I've been working with someone who is trying to lateral from consulting, and he has had like 3 or 4 interviews just pop up out of nowhere.
Hi, can you expand on what lateral interviews are like? I have 3.5 years consulting and 1 year IBD trying to lateral into a BB associate level. Aside from BIWS / WSO interview guides / modeling programs, I’m not sure what to expect
