Any IB-related professionals in Mexico?

Happy Christmas and New Year WSO community,

I am the 2025 president of the Finance Undergraduate Alumni Society of the main campus of one of the Target Schools in Mexico and leading in all of Central America, our Alumni Society is highly interested in collaborating (as conferences, Internship/Apprenticeship vacancy collaborations, Interview experiences/study Material, and others) with IB related individuals/organizations.

This is an opportunity for individuals to share their knowledge with a Target school, strengthening their LinkedIn profile and extra-curricular experience, and, on the other hand, for finance-related organizations to have Fast-Pass Access to Target school students interested in the IB field.

Be welcome to pm me or drop any questions below,

Greetings,

A.N. Luttmann

Based on the most helpful WSO content, there isn't a direct mention of IB professionals or organizations in Mexico specifically collaborating with alumni societies. However, for IB in Latin America, including Mexico, major banks like BofA, Goldman Sachs, Credit Suisse, JPMorgan, and Citi are known to operate in the region. Networking is emphasized as a key factor for recruitment, especially since these banks often hire from target universities in Latin America.

Your initiative to collaborate with IB professionals and organizations is a great way to bridge the gap between students and the industry. Reaching out to these banks' regional offices or leveraging LinkedIn to connect with professionals in Mexico could be a good starting point. Additionally, you might find insights or potential connections by exploring threads related to IB in LatAm on WSO.
