Anyone go from boutique to BB at 22+?

Just as title asks, are there any stories out there of kids getting into a BB from a tiny shop/relevant experience, but not great name? I'm currently 24 for context. I don't have a lot of money saved for b-school as I am paid sub-street. And I'm worried my work experience won't go far post MBA to get me into a high paying job, making it worthwhile. I would say my skills in modeling are advanced since I have gotten a lot of exposure to it. I wouldn't say I'm the most technical because I know there's a lot of differences between where I work and large corporate transactions.

Hey there. I'll be working at a middle-market boutique starting September, and I want to make a jump to a BB. Since I just graduated in May, I am planning on applying for FT roles for final year students--that way, I can get like 9ish months of work experience before I move to BB, if I even receive the opportunity. Would that be an acceptable strategy to landing a role? Should I apply to "experienced hire" positions instead? Any advice on how I should network and what my story and "ask" should be?
