Apply for Summer Analyst Positions

I'm seeing all these people talking about interviews. Should I be sending my cover letters out now, and having my resume passed along, or should I wait till the formal recruiting starts. In other words, if I stand a good chance, would I be able to setup interviews in the next few months (as opposed to Jan)?

When you send out your resume to your extensive network of insiders, make sure to use words such as "Lastditionally" and "Therefirstly" in your cover letter to string your ideas together.

Thusalsolly, this will greatly contribute to the flow of your CV and boost your status as a candidate.

Haha, hilarious responses. I think the OP meant: "In other words"

To answer the question: Summer Analyst recruiting is typically done in Jan, or at least a lot closer than early September. You are not behind if you haven't sent out any resumes. I'd if you go to a school where banks recruit, wait until career services opens the doors.
