Applying for other internships while already got SA
Hi all,
This summer I will be interning at a tier 1 BB in London (IBD). Next year I will have a couple of months off before I start my FT there if I get an offer. I was thinking about applying for a HF/PE internship to spend my free months, but I am afraid this could be leaked in some way to my current internship (the fin. world is small of course). My goal would be to do my internship at a top tier HF like Citadel or a PE shop like BX or KKR.
Would you guys think that if I would apply this month, this could in any way affect my current SA internship and my chances of getting an offer? If HR or one of my colleagues finds out they could think 'Oh there you have one of those guys again, that will jump out after 2 or 3 years to the buy-side and is now already trying to secure a position there for himself'.

Nobody will care or even know about it for that matter. Why would you want to do this to yourself though? Go on a nice vacation or something before you start spending your life in a cubicle.
