Applying to IBD SA roles with a deferred masters offer graduating in 2026: is there any extra info I need to declare on my CV?

Hello!

I wanted to ask a question about applying to IBD SA roles for 2026 with a deferred masters offer.

I have a deferred masters' offer from a Top 3 University in the UK as I previously mentioned. I was, however, unsure how to state this in my CV.

Under my undergraduate experience, I stated my mitigating circumstances to highlight how they meant I had to be a carer. Now, I will be applying to SA roles that take place in the summer of 2025 as I graduate in 2026. However, I wasn't sure whether to add one or two bullet points on my CV e.g.

  • Accepted deferred offer for MSc X (Advanced STEM Subject in a STEM area that is also a highly relevant IBD division @ Top 3 Uni)
  • Relevant modules: module 1, module 2, module 3. etc.

Or if there is any requirement at all to qualify anything.

Also, because my phone has a small screen so I can't see the end of my title to add this: I wanted to ask about the suitability of my hobbies. Some of my hobbies are, well... unconventional for a man. I have the following hobbies listed under my CV (note I am a heterosexual European man who has grown up in England his whole life):

  • Dancing (Contemporary) - member of a dance club in Central London and also have partaken in pole dancing (but would never mention this openly) [this was after graduating from my undergrad]
  • Football - member of the university football team.
  • Aviation - studying for my EU pilots licence. [this was after graduating from my undergrad]
  • Languages - currently learning Hindi and Russian. [this started in my undergrad and I moved to learning Hindi and Russian for my own entertainment post-graduation]

Is there any hobby that I should remove? I'm just not sure how this would be received by an associate or HR representative.

(Apologies in advance if this is the wrong forum: I am happy to have this thread removed if it is inappropriate)

Many thanks and I wish everyone here the best for the upcoming year!
