Applying to same position after rejection?

Wondering if anyone has ever tried applying to a position that they were already rejected from.. I applied for an IB position at a MM bank and got rejected and am considering trying again. I've received a good mix of interviews and rejections, leading me to believe my resume is teetering on the edge of "good enough".

I figure that if I apply again, this time using one of my other email addresses and probably checking the box that says I've never previously applied, I might have another shot. No downside, right? Got the rejection a few weeks ago and, with the expectedly high volume of applications being read, I doubt my resume would be remembered at all.

Worth a shot?

Probably not worth it tbh, I know quite a few places have processes to check for multiple applications (friends have been rejected for this from all spectrum's' of of banks). It could lead to you being blacklisted or something I would say its better to take the hit now so you can apply at another point.
