The usual practice is for juniors to apply to SA's. But I'm in a 2 year masters and have an internship between the 1st and 2nd year at a firm (not too strong. Think firm trying to become a BB). As a result, I would prefer a stronger firm but applying FT is very difficult and many firms (like Moelis don't even have full time open). Cheers.
