Are BB analysts still making more than consultants this year?

Just wondering if total comp for first-year analysts is still going to be higher than total comp for first-year BAs at McK. Base salaries are app. the same, and IB bonuses are not going to be much higher than McK bonuses (or at least that's what I have heard).

What do you guys think?

yes, they'll still be higher. mck has bonuses of 5-10k for analysts from what i've heard. some BBs have higher base salaries now, but even that said, bonuses of 5-15k going forward are pretty unlikely.

risk adjustment though, may be worth considering. BB jobs are very insecure. McK almost 100% won't lay off analysts (because they just cycle them through every year anyways, and every analyst is mobile to all business lines)

also, if you look at hours worked, consulting may be worth it this year
