Are Canadian schools that bad in terms of a future for IB?

I’ve read a bit on here that outside of those who graduate from US target schools, it’s very hard to land a job at Wall Street. Surely top Canadian schools like McGill, UofToronto, and University of British Columbia are still pretty good right? Is the international barrier a problem? Thanks a lot

Ivey and queens place on Wall Street and Cali pretty easily. McGill HIM and UBC PMF program place into top groups in New York as well. Every other Canadian school has got no chance in hell to lock a USA firm

Definitely a lot cheaper in Canada . It’s a tough argument because there is a lot of competition at these elite us targets and some even get beat out my URm diversity and non targets. There are a lot more analyst spots available though , especially at the boutique and mm level in the USA

Just from personal experience i don't think so. I go to a semi target and applied to universities in Ontario and got rejected every single time but i doubt that is the norm
