Are most IB lateral modeling tests in-person or virtual?

Quick question — for those who have gone through lateral recruiting for investment banking: are the modeling tests usually administered virtually (like over Zoom or via a take-home assignment), or are they typically done in person at the office?

Trying to get a sense of what to expect — and if it’s virtual, how closely it’s monitored (e.g., timed, live screen sharing, etc.). Would appreciate any insights based on recent experiences!
