Arma Partners Exits LDN

I’ve looked on past threads on WSO & also the past companies search on LinkedIn and don’t actually yield much.

Most of what I’ve seen is; can exit to BB or EB (if a really strong candidate), but the majority I’ve seen have been other MM banks & boutiques.

Are there any stories of PE? What are the most common exits?

If you know anyone personally that’s exited, where did they end up?

Based on the most helpful WSO content, exits from firms like Arma Partners typically align with the broader trends seen in middle-market (MM) and boutique investment banks. Here's a breakdown of common exit opportunities:

  1. Investment Banking (BB/EB/MM):

    • Strong candidates may transition to Bulge Bracket (BB) or Elite Boutique (EB) banks, though this is less common.
    • The majority tend to move laterally to other MM banks or boutiques.
  2. Private Equity (PE):

    • While PE exits are possible, they are less frequent compared to exits from BB or EB banks.
    • Success in transitioning to PE often depends on the candidate's deal experience, networking, and technical skills.
  3. Corporate Development:

    • A common path for those looking to move in-house, particularly at tech or media companies, given Arma Partners' focus on these sectors.
  4. Venture Capital (VC):

    • Some professionals may leverage their experience to join VC firms, especially if they have worked on deals involving startups or growth-stage companies.
  5. Entrepreneurship or Startups:

    • A few may pursue entrepreneurial ventures or join startups, particularly in tech-related fields.
  6. MBA Programs:

    • Candidates may use their experience as a stepping stone to top MBA programs, which can open doors to a variety of career paths, including PE, VC, or corporate roles.

If you're looking for specific stories or examples, LinkedIn searches and networking within the WSO community can provide more personalized insights.
