As a junior, how to make yourself useful with slow deal flow

2023 has not been off to a flying start with stalling on deals, we’re also atm doing no pitching. So since 2023 has begun I honestly have not done much other than prep for the eventual deal that is meant to come in hopefully a week. As layoffs happen more frequently i get nervous every time I’m not busy, which now seems to be more frequently, anything appreciated thanks

Same story here. Haven’t done anything since midterm. Alot of sitting around and finding admin work to do. How are you staying busy?

Looking at previous transactions, practicing modeling, admin work and organizing folders on my PC lol, I have Fridays WFH so I just game and refresh teams but man this is torture

Sometimes I'll just hit alt tab between 2 tabs until I get bored. Something straight out of Blade Runner 2049

I’m think it’s worse that I’m associate and sitting around. Literally nothing to do. Been reading credit agreements all day lol
