Asking questions...
If after an interview an associate says to call with any additional questions, what are some cogent questions that one could ask to demonstrate enthusiasm for the position? E.g. what are examples of good questions that associates would not construe as a waste of their time. If I call, I want to make a good impression.
What do you think are some of my shortcomings?
This lets you achieve the following:
1) Know that you're doing well in your interview (whether or not the interviewer likes what he/she sees) 2) Try to convince them to re-evaluate. 3) You know exactly the things you need to highlight in the next round of interviews.
