Associate Banker Barclays?
Can someone shed some light on what an Associate Banker does at Barclays and what a day in the life looks like? Is it a normal corporate banking role i.e. relationship management, revolvers, term loans etc or do you get involved in DCM for example or provide funding for other purposes. Does the role sit within the Corporate Bank or the combined Corporate & Investment Bank (CIB) and what is base and bonus comp like in London?
Any info would be appreciated.

The full position is "Associate Banker" rather than an associate in IB terms. https://search.jobs.barclays/job/london/associate-banker/13015/51514500… wanted to know where in the bank this sits as it's advertised as CIB but JD isn't clear and heard comp is different if the CB is within CIB vs standalone group
The job listing helps, that seems to be more tradition CB outside of CIB. In London CB is more seperate whereas in NYC CB sits directly within IB and is called International Corporate Investment Banking. My guess salary would be much lower than NYC and support existing UK clients with an international prescense rather than cross selling IB products and doing IG loans
Any idea on how easy internal mobility is or common exit ops from CB (IB, LevFin, DCM, PC etc?), appreciate you are in the US and I'm asking about LDN specific info.
